Bulgaria Air Operates Special Flights on March 4 and 5 to Repatriate Bulgarian Tourists from the Middle East
The national carrier Bulgaria Air is operating special flights on March 4 and 5 to bring back Bulgarian tourists who remained in Oman and Dubai due to the complicated situation in the Middle East.
The airline is working in close coordination with the Bulgarian authorities and international aviation organizations, continuously monitoring the situation in real time to ensure the safety of all passengers and flight crews. Bulgaria Air’s operations include a positioning flight on March 4, deploying a Boeing 737-314 aircraft with 148 seats to Oman, followed by a combined passenger flight on the next day, transporting tourists from both Oman and Dubai. The flight is expected to arrive in Sofia at 17:50 on March 5.
Flights on both days are being operated under enhanced security measures along pre-approved routes in the region, with intermediate stops for refueling. The second aircraft, an Airbus A320 CEO (registration LZ-FBI), which will transport passengers from both destinations, has a capacity of 180 seats, while the total number of passengers is being updated in line with the evolving situation.
