Important information for all arrivals in Bulgaria
Until 31.05.2021 the new regulations for entry into the Republic of Bulgaria, issued by the Minister of Health, are in force.
People which according to the order are allowed to enter the territory of Bulgaria may do so by providing one of the following documents:
- Document for a completed full vaccination against Covid-19, at least 14 days before the trip;
- For people recovered from Covid-19 for the period from the 15th to the 180th day before the trip: a document showing a positive result from a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test or a rapid antigen test for Covid-19;
- For Bulgarian citizens, EU citizens, United Kingdom, Israel, Russia, Ukraine and others. described in the order, including members of their families, except with one of the above documents may enter the country with a negative result of PCR test for coronavirus, made not earlier than 72 hours before arrival or a negative rapid antigen test, made not earlier than 48 hours before entering the country.
Bulgarian citizens and those with the status of permanent, long-term or continuous residence in the country, who do not provide a document for a negative PCR test, are placed under a 10-day quarantine. It is possible to reduce the quarantine upon provision of a negative PCR or rapid antigen test performed within 24 hours of entry.
