Dear passengers, due to the situation with COVID-19, flights FB977/8 on March 16 between Sofia and Varna are cancelled; the passengers will be transferred to today’s evening flights

Dear passengers,

Due to the dynamic situation with the spread of coronavirus in Bulgaria and after the one registered COVID-19 case in Varna, Bulgaria Air canceled the afternoon flights between Sofia and Varna – FB977 and FB978.

In order to allow the passengers to travel on this route, the late flights will be performed. The flight from Sofia to Varna is expected to depart at 8:00 p.m., and the return flight – from Varna to Sofia – at 9:30 p.m.

The passengers on the cancelled due to the force-majeure circumstances flight may request to be transferred at the expense of the airline to the evening flights on Sofia-Varna-Sofia route. In case you are among those affected by the cancellation, the ticket issuer will contact you for reissuance of a new ticket.

We apologize to our passengers and partners for the inconvenience caused. The measure that is taken is temporary and it aims to allow more time for the establishment of the situation in Varna. Currently there are no changes planned for the Sofia-Varna-Sofia route in the next days.
