Bulgaria Air participates in the 2025 Career Fair
Over 1,500 students from 40 schools in Bulgaria discovered the world of future jobs by participating in this year's Career Fair, held on November 21 and 22, 2025, at Sofia Tech Park. The eleventh edition of the forum, organized by the Bulgarian Network of the UN Global Compact, brought together students, parents, and teachers, who spent two days learning about the professions of today and tomorrow.
The national airline took part in the career event, with pilot Plamen Kovachev and flight attendant Adelina Kehayova joining in a discussion about the nature of work at an altitude of 10,000 meters. In an interactive session, visitors to the fair learned more about working in the aviation sector and asked questions to representatives of the airline.
First Officer Kovachev's account of his experience as a military pilot and his subsequent career transition to civil aviation aroused great interest. Today, he pilots the newest addition to Bulgaria Air's fleet—the modern Airbus A220 aircraft, which operate regular flights to all European destinations in the flight network.
As a member of the Bulgaria Air cabin crew, Adelina Kehayova also shared interesting facts about her profession, told curious stories from her work in the office with the most beautiful view, and emphasized the responsibilities of the cabin crew during the flight, along with caring for passengers. The students were excited about meeting the two representatives of the airline's team and asked many questions about the training process that takes place from the classroom to the cockpit and the aviation industry.
Over 40 professions were presented through workshops, demonstrations, games, experiments, and quizzes. Engineers, a pilot and a flight attendant, programmers, chefs, influencers, cybersecurity experts, sustainability specialists, technologists, bankers, aviation professionals, AI experts, and many others inspired the students with real-life stories and practical tasks.
Bulgaria Air traditionally supports numerous career initiatives, and its representatives participate in thematic forums aimed at young people. Choosing a profession is always easier when young people meet professionals who practice it responsibly and inspire them to follow in their footsteps.
