Special surprise for the passengers of Bulgaria Air on March 1st
On the 1st of March the national carrier compliments its passengers once again with a courtesy gesture and a surprising present. All passengers on board of Bulgaria Air planes during the day received a beautiful Bulgarian martenitsa while the cabin crew wished them health and prosperity.
With this surprise Bulgaria Air would like to wish to its passengers a happy Baba Marta, a traditional spring holiday in Bulgaria. The martenitsa has a symbolic meaning for the Bulgarians, the interwoven white and red threads bringing not only positive energy and best wishes, but also many smiles to whoever receives it. Passengers were delighted by this compliment and were genuinely excited about the initiative.
The tradition dictates that, in order to bring happiness and luck, the martenitsa should be given as a present. That’s why the national carrier makes this compliment to its passengers and wishes them many exciting flights and unforgettable experiences during the whole year.
The airline deeply respects the Bulgarian folklore, traditions and customs and gives its best to surprise its passengers for the important holidays with courtesy gestures on board, making their flight experience even more pleasant and cozy. Foreign passengers, on the other hand, are given the opportunity to get to know the Bulgarian national traditions and ancient culture, as part of the mission of Bulgaria Air as national carrier.
