Bulgaria Air disclaims any liability for failed trips, if the passenger was not admitted on a flight due to his/her non-compliance with border, customs or visa formalities. Therefore we recommend that you check the validity of all documents, required from you, at least 72 hours prior to the departure and make sure, immediately before leaving that you have taken with you all things necessary. Our many years of experience in passenger service indicate that most often trips go wrong for the following reasons:
Attempt to travel with identity card to non-EU Member States in Europe Attempt to travel with expired long-term multiple-entry visas Attempt to travel with passport, the validity of which would expire during the trip or within a time period, shorter than that required by the respective state (typically this period is 6 months following the date of scheduled return) Lack of notarized declaration from any of the parents, if the other parent is leaving this country with their child. Such a declaration is required from both parents in case a passenger is leaving this country as companion of a child under 18 years of age
Please keep in mind that in case a passenger would not be admitted into any country due to his own fault and that country’s authorities would sanction Bulgaria Air in this connection, the aviation company reserves the right to seek compensation for the damages suffered.
